Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)

It is compulsory for international students to maintain Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the entire duration of their studies in Australia. International students must make arrangements for OSHC with EQI in order to receive their Confirmation of Enrolment.

Basic OSHC provides international students with access to ambulance services and a shared ward in Queensland public hospitals. A Guide to OSHC provides information in relation to the basic medical and hospital services students will receive as part of their OSHC package.

EQI will arrange OSHC on behalf of international students. OSHC packages are available from the following reputable providers:
